Rodalben Germany My Childhood Home

April 3rd, 2010 2 comments

This is a photo of a small town in southwest Germany called Rodalben.   Our family lived here from 1965-1970 while my dad was in the air force.  This was and from what I see on the Internet today, a great little town.  During world war II Rodalben was the center of the German boot making industry and as a result got quite a bit of attention from allied bombers.  I have some absolutely fantastic memories from this place and hope to someday return.

Classic Car With A Modern Twist

April 1st, 2010 No comments

I took this picture on I24 in Nashville today.  A classic car to be sure……….just not sure I care of the decidedly un-classic color and wheels.  Still, it did look good and caught the eye of most of the drivers that it went by.

Madisonville, Kentucky is certainly a hotbed of excitement on a Friday night.  This has to be the absolute dullest place I have ever been, and believe me, I have been to a lot of places.  This is a shot of downtown just about 6.30 pm on a Friday night……… uugghhh

As An Amateur Photographer Here Are Some Of My Favorite Photos

March 3rd, 2010 2 comments

I like to think of myself as a fledgling photographer. I really like black and white photos of both people and objects.  I am not really into portraits but I love to capture people as they naturally are.  The same for objects and structures. There is a certain beauty even in old run down building and inanimate objects.  So with that said here are a few of mine.
