This is a photo of a small town in southwest Germany called Rodalben. Our family lived here from 1965-1970 while my dad was in the air force. This was and from what I see on the Internet today, a great little town. During world war II Rodalben was the center of the German boot making industry and as a result got quite a bit of attention from allied bombers. I have some absolutely fantastic memories from this place and hope to someday return.
I took this picture on I24 in Nashville today. A classic car to be sure……….just not sure I care of the decidedly un-classic color and wheels. Still, it did look good and caught the eye of most of the drivers that it went by.

Madisonville, Kentucky is certainly a hotbed of excitement on a Friday night. This has to be the absolute dullest place I have ever been, and believe me, I have been to a lot of places. This is a shot of downtown just about 6.30 pm on a Friday night……… uugghhh
