Shadows On Brick Wall
I snapped this photo with my cell phone and then modified it to black and white….. I just like the way this looked.

After dropping my daughter off at school last week I stopped at the Ideal to get some gas. It was a dark, blustery and rainy morning. I had my window down part of the way and liked the contrast between the wet and dry… so here it is, “Wet And Dry At The Ideal Gas Station” (taken with my Samsung Slider Phone Cam)
As an artist I love to look at the how things are designed. Lines, shapes, color, texture, shadows…. they all play a part in what makes something visually appealing. While in Cadiz I took this photo of the upper corner of one of the buildings in downtown. The sun was just right in the late afternoon and the clear sky made a perfect photo. I think this is some really great architectural design…..
Here are a few photos I took with my cell phone during the Friday Night Live festivities last night in Madisonville. I admit I manipulated the black and white one as it was taken in color.

I took this photo with my cell phone at the main intersection downtown Madisonville. I admin I did some manipulation to change to black and white but I think it better captured the age of the building.
