My First Flat In London England

September 5th, 2009 Leave a comment Go to comments

This is the living room of my first flat in Swiss Cottage, London, England.  I lived at 5 Adamson Lane just a stones throw from the Swiss Cottage tube stop.  This was a great neighborhood and location. Could be in central London in about 10 minutes by cab, 2o by tube…..  I often times walked to work which took about an hour but it was a great morning walk through Regents Park past St John’s Wood then on to Baker Street past Sherlock Holmes fictional home-office and then toward Selfridges on Oxford for a quick cup of espresso before arriving at 7 N. Audley St on Grosvenor Sq.

OMG - did we have some great parties there or what? That was a really great flat wasn’t it…… we should have done more stuff in the back garden but we were too young and stupid I guess….. remember having parties just cause the liquor was getting low? Linda and the Chief next door, the Japanese ladies upstairs and the Australians below us…. We lived in such a great neighborhood:wonderful roommate, great little Chinese restaurant next to the massage place, great local pub right outside the tube stop, nice local store for fresh cheese and wine…. That flat holds some really great memories for me…

Definitley had some good times at 5 Adamson Lane……… I got curious a couple months ago and check some letting agents to see what the price would be for a flat comparable to ours……..OMG ……. 1500 to 2000 pounds a week…!!!! It’s no wonder CNE moved from London to Italy………..

Do you remember the first snow storm there? When we went walking in the neighborhood taking pictures?
