Navy SEAL’s are always taught:
1) Keep your priorities in order and,
2) Know when to act without hesitation.
A Navy SEAL was attending some college courses between assignments. He had completed missions in Iraq and Afghanistan.
One of the courses had a professor who was an avowed atheist and a member of the ACLU. One day he shocked the class when he came in, looked to the ceiling, and flatly stated, “God, if you are real, then I want you to knock me off this platform. I’ll give you exactly 15 minutes.” The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop. Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, “Here I am God. I’m still waiting.”
It got down to the last couple of minutes when the SEAL got out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-cocked him; knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold. The SEAL went back to his seat and sat there, silently. The other students were shocked and stunned and sat there looking on in silence.
The professor eventually came to, noticeably shaken, looked at the SEAL and asked, “What the hell is the matter with you? Why did you do that?”
The SEAL calmly replied, “God was too busy today protecting America’s soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupid shit and act like an asshole. So He sent me.”
He must be from the Electric Amish sect. Took this with my camera phone in Staples this morning.

Well, it was Saturday evening at Wally World. Fairly busy time for the local store in Madisonville KY and as usual this multi billion dollar company can’t afford to pay a few extra employees to keep more check out lines open.
There are 23 check out lines at the Madisonville KY Wally World and as usual practically none were open. This time I took a photo with my camera phone. 3 lines were open and at each open line there were people standing out into the aisle. One of the three lines was the line that sells tobacco so it was long as well. Everyone in the line we were in was getting really disgusted.
To top it off we found out when we got to our turn to check out the young lady on the register had just started and it was only her third nite. Of course the CSR said all the self check out lines were open, which they were but we didnt want the self check out. We had coupons and comps to use and so did others in line.
I am about fed up with Wally World. Old Sam Walton would roll over in his grave if he saw his company now. Unfortunately on our town we don’t have many options……….. we have a small Kmart and a Kroger and that’s it.
Here are a couple photos I took………….. Something needs to be done.
